Swimming Schedules, Fees & Information

Recreation - Service & Schedule Disruptions:

You can register for aquatic programs using Quik-E-Link online. Drop boxes are currently available at the Magna Centre, Ray Twinney Recreation Complex and Municipal Offices as an alternate option. All forms placed in drop boxes will be manually processed in random order based upon applicant residency using the same dates as above.Children swimming

AQUAFIT COMBO: Open to 14 yrs. and up. An "all exercise" workout to music. Mid-pool, deep, and shallow water used. RTRC class size limit - 35 participants

FIT FOREVER: Open to 55 yrs+. Aquatic fitness workout to music. Deep and shallow water used. Metro class size limit - 25 participants. RTRC class size limit - 35 participants.

DIAPER FIT: This gentle shallow water workout for parents and tots under 3 years of age requires the use of a baby floatation device (tugboat), which is provided. 15/class limit.

AQUADEEP: Open to 14 yrs. and up. A moderate to intense workout - all in deep water. Jogging belts and other equipment provided, or bring your own. Participants must be comfortable in deep water and able to swim 25m. 15/class limit in deep well.

PUBLIC SWIM: Open to anyone. Pool space shared with lessons and aquatic fitness. Lanes for lane swim may be available and are limited. (*dependent on shared activities). Parents and preschoolers in the Tot/Teaching Pool only with limited space. Swirl Pool and Sauna (RTRC) open. Swirl pool not available if H20 Repair program or a lesson is scheduled in that area. Slide open Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday.

LANE SWIM: Swirl Pool and Sauna available at Ray Twinney. Teaching Pool (Metro Aquatic Centre) not available. Shared with fitness/lessons groups. Proper lane swim etiquette must be followed.

LEISURELY LANE: One lane only available during Aqua Fitness. 6 people max. Leisurely/slow speed only.

H2O REPAIR: Gentle stretching/strengthening workout in Swirl Pool/Learning Pool. to ease joints, muscles, or injuries.
5 per class limit.

WATER IN MOTION: The newest Aqua exercise workout that provides a low impact, high energy challenge for participants, of all ages, skill and fitness levels. Jump in and make a splash with this dynamic cardio workout that tones and tapers the entire body. Shallow to mid water workout.

AQUA ZUMBA: A "pool party" workout for all ages. An effective and challenging water-based workout that integrates the Zumba formula and philosophy into traditional aqua fitness. 25 per class limit.

Group Rate - Includes up to 6 people - min. of 1 adult all living in same household.
