Large Item Tags & Garbage Bag Tags
Large item tags and garbage bag tags can be purchased by contacting Customer Service at 905-953-5303 or info@newmarket.ca. If you are sending us an email, please include your phone number and our Customer Service Centre will be in touch with you regarding payment and delivery. Please do not email your payment information. The Town will send you your tags by mail.
Large item tags and garbage bag tags are also available for purchase in-person at the Municipal Offices, Magna Centre, Ray Twinney Recreation Complex, Operations Centre and Newmarket Public Library. Please note that COVID-19 protocols are in place and only cashless transactions are accepted for all payments.
Blue Boxes, Green Bins and Kitchen Catchers
Blue boxes, green bins and kitchen catchers can be purchased by contacting Customer Service at 905-895-5193 or emailing info@newmarket.ca. Bakyard Composters
Earth Machine backyard composters can be purchased over the phone by calling 905-895-5193 or emailing info@newmarket.ca. If you are sending us an email please include your phone number and our Customer Service Centre will be in touch with you regarding payment and delivery. Please do not email your payment information. Alternatively, composters may be purchased at the Operations Centre. (debit and credit only)
Broken Blue Box or Green Bin
Blue boxes and green bins are replaced free of charge if broken. Residents can call our waste collection contractor Green for Life (GFL) at 1-866-421-5625 to schedule a replacement bin exchange. Broken blue boxes or green bins must be at the curb on the date of exchange agreed to with our contractor GFL in order to receive a replacement bin. Alternatively, bins may also be replaced at the Operations Centre.
