  • Celebrate diversity, individuality, movement and culture in Newmarket this June

    Created: Thursday, May 30, 2024

The Town of Newmarket is committed to building a strong, healthy and equitable community where everyone feels an unwavering sense of belonging. In June, the Town recognizes all the ways that we can embrace individuality, celebrate culture and encourage movement.

Throughout the month, Newmarket is offering countless activities and in-person events to honour unique Indigenous histories, recognize the contributions of seniors and continue to build a community that is inclusive and accessible.

“Newmarket is a place for everyone,” says Mayor John Taylor. “The people in this community are what make Newmarket one of the greatest places to live in Canada, and this month gives us an opportunity to learn from each other and celebrate the diversity that everyone contributes. I hope you’ll join us for the many celebrations throughout June.”
