    Thank you for your ideas!

During the meeting, the consulting team - PLANT Architects & Process (public engagement) will share the results of the robust, five month community engagement process which took place October 2019 through February 2020.

Over 3,000 residents shared their vision and ideas for the property during a Harvest Picnic, focus groups, high school and community workshops, an online survey and at HeyNewmarket, our online feedback hub.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped shape the future Mulock Property.

    Moving into Phase Two

In addition to public engagement, the team did extensive research into the site’s ecology, archaeology, landscape condition and tree health, building assets, heritage, parking access and more. This shaped a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities, goals, objectives and high-level design principles for the park and house development.

The public engagement results and the technical report will be presented to Council for discussion and feedback which will lay the groundwork for the design of the park in Phase Two.

    What’s next?

Pending Council approval on May 25, the project will move to Phase Two which will include the creation of three design concepts which will then be refined to one Master Plan.
