Waste Exemption Program
If someone in your household has a medical condition that results in additional non-recyclable waste over the curbside garbage bag/container limit, you may be eligible for the Town of Newmarket's waste exemption program. Once approved, a supply of garbage tags are provided at no cost. To protect your privacy, tags provided are standard Town of Newmarket garbage tags.
To apply, download and complete all sections of the Waste Exemption Application Form. If approved, Town of Newmarket garbage tags will be mailed to the address provided. Applications can be renewed annually on the anniversary date of the applicant's program approval.
