Calling all pumpkin carvers and jack-o-lantern enthusiasts! Show off your jack-o-lantern one more time for a chance to win! 

On the day after Halloween, drop off your carved or painted pumpkins to Riverwalk Commons between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to be put on display that evening. 

To enter the contest, register your jack-o-lantern when you drop it off (name and email required so we can contact you if you win) and be sure to come back during the event time to see all of the pumpkins lit up and vote for your favourites! 

No pumpkin to drop off? No problem! You are welcome to attend the event from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., view the pumpkin display and cast your vote.

Location: Riverwalk Commons (200 Doug Duncan Drive) 

Cost: Free 


Contest Categories and Prizes: 

  • Jack-of-all-Lanterns (Best Overall) ($100 gift card)
  • Cutest Pumpkin ($50 gift card) 
  • Scariest Pumpkin ($50 gift card) 
  • Most Creative Pumpkin ($50 gift card) 

How to Enter: 

  1. Drop off your jack-o-lantern between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021. 
  2. Register your pumpkin when you arrive by leaving your name and email so we can contact you if you win. 

How to Vote: 

  1. Attend the Pumpkin Parade event on Monday, November 1, 2021 and cast your vote in person. 
  2. All attendees are eligible to vote once.

Contest and Prize Rules 

- All prizes (gift cards) are to Farm Boy Newmarket. 
- Entries can only win in one category. If entries win in more than one category, the winner will receive the highest value prize. The prize not awarded to the top winning entry will then be awarded to the runner up.


Winners will be announced on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 on this webpage.
